Frozen Black Irish Cocktail For St Patrick’s Day

Frozen Black Irish

On 17th March the world celebrates St Patrick’s Day – who is the Patron Saint of Ireland, as if you didn’t know.

Though many of us are not on the Emerald Isle, we still celebrate with Irish food, Irish music, Kelly Green and of course Guinness!

I luuurv Guinness, but I really can’t drink pints and pints anymore. Gone are those student days (sigh) 🙂

Now I am more partial to this delicious cocktail 🙂 The Frozen Black Irish!

So if you’re not a Guinness fan, are looking for drinks ideas to serve at a St Patrick’s Day celebration, or just like me you prefer something smaller and sweeter, then this is for you!

On to the recipe.

Additional Notes

This photo is not mine, I have borrowed it from www.claras.com - who are probably the last people EVER to know what this drink is 😀
I hope it's ok that I have used it, and that they don't sue!

Happy St Patrick’s Day everyone, and make sure you celebrate it in some way or another, even if it is with a small glass of Irish Stout, or with some delicious Irish food.

Please note that Guinness is now VEGAN! Thank you Guinness xxxxxx
